JAMMU, July 1: To give fillip to women cricket in the State, Angel Cricket Club, Jammu, is organising a special coaching camp for young female cricketers at its coaching centre at Government College for Women (GCW) Parade from tomorrow.
The 11-days camp will conclude on July 12, 2019.
The young female cricketers including beginners also, will be bestowed cricketing tips by experts of the game, under the overall supervision of Anju Gupta, Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), Gandhi Nagar, who is also the coach of the Centre at GCW Parade.
“We will be providing free of cost coaching to young female cricketers to help them hone their skill. Moreover, the objective of the Camp is to involve more and more girls in sporting activities. The timing of the camp will be from 4:30 pm to 6 pm every day,” informed Anju Gupta.
