POONCH, July 3: A middle- aged woman was died of burn injuries after she caught fire due to leakage of LPG cylinder at her home this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that one Zaitoon Bi, wife of Mohd Latief, resident of Chakrara village in Mandi was trapped in major fire when she was cooking. The LPG leaked and the cylinder caught fire while dousing the fire, she was trapped in flames and sustained over 90 % burn injuries. She was rushed to Poonch hospital where she succumbed to injuries this evening.
