JKFA Annual League Football Tournament

SRINAGAR, July 10: In the ongoing State Annual League Football tournament, two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, here.
In the Super Division match, Jahangir Sports defeated Saffalo FC by two goals to nil (2-1). Sameer Ahmad and Wajahat scored for Jahangir Sports.
In the Premier Division match played between J&K Bank XI and Novelty Sports, the star-studded Bank team played aggressive football from the word go which delighted the fans who had thronged the venue in huge numbers.
In the 22nd minute of 1st half, Furkan of J&K Bank scored a beautiful goal by a header. Waris of J&K Bank increased the margin by scoring another goal in 29th minute of the 1st half. Aakif scored the third goal in 42nd minute. Goalkeeper of Novelty saved two brilliant shots of J&K bank’s striker. Musudiq of Novelty Sports scored lone goal for his team in 70th minute of 2nd half.
The tournament is being organized by District Football Association Srinagar, Medical Partner Rahim Green and Football Sponsor Sports International (VECTOR).
