Dynamic Club wins Sikh Premier League

POONCH, July 12: Sailing on superb all round performance from Pritpal Singh, the Dynamic Club lifted the title trophy of the Sikh Premier League Cricket Tournament outplaying Dream XI by 29 runs in the final played at Government Higher Secondary School grounds, here today.
Pritpal earlier guided his side to a big total of 164 runs in allotted 10 over contributing unbeaten 80 and later clinched three wickets to restrict opponent to 135 for nine.
Besides Prithpal, Manjot Singh and JP Singh also batted well contributing 38 and 22 runs respectively. Amandeep Singh added 19 not out. From Dream XI, Jasmeet, Tejinder, Amandeep and Gurjot took one wicket each.
In reply, Dream XI could make 135 runs losing nine wickets in 10 overs. Jasmeet Singh and Tejinder Singh were main contributors to the total with unbeaten 68 and 29 runs in their respective accounts. Pritpal remained most successful bowler form winning side of Dynamic with three wickets. Parupkar and J P shared two each while Manjot bagged one.
Later, Pritpal Singh was named man of the match.
In the final and valedictory function, founder president Pritam Spiritual Foundation Poonch, Prof Jagbir Singh was chief guest, who gave away the title trophy. Narjeet Singh (Retd.ZEPO), Nirdosh Kumar (Incharge Sport Stadium), Mohd Tariq (chairman Shaheed Manjit Volleyball Club), Imtiaz Salaria (JKCA), Prem Parkash Luthra , Rydhampreet Singh (vice president Pritam spiritual Foundation Poonch) and Harcharan Singh were guests of honour.
This tournament was organised by Sikh Youth Poonch in collaboration with Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club and the organising committee included Matinderpal Singh Monty, Arvinder Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Gurtejbir Singh, Sarabjeet Singh, Kulvinder Singh.
