Two bovines rescued

JAMMU, July 17: Jhajjar Kotli police today rescued two bovine animals and arrested a smuggler.
According to a police official, during naka checking at Suketar Domail, a police party of police station Jhajjar Kotli intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BL-7986. During checking of the vehicle, 2 bovines animals were found loaded in the vehicle which were being transported illegally.
The driver of the vehicle namely Mohd Qasim son of Jamal Din, resident of Ramban, was arrested on the spot and the bovines animals were rescued while the vehicle was also seized by the police. In this connection, a case was registered at police station Jhajjar Kotli.
