JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, July 22: Bhatia Cricket Club and Poonch XI registered convincing victories over their rivals in the ongoing JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament, being held under the supervision of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO JKCA at various venues.
In the match of JKCA Jammu District Cricket Tournament, Bhatia Cricket Club defeated Singh Cricket Club in an easy contest by 2 wickets.
Batting first, Singh Cricket Club scored a modest total of 104 runs in 31.2 overs in a 50-Over match. Mohit top scored with 29 runs, while Manik contributed 19 runs to the total. From Bhatia Cricket Club, Gourav took 3 wickets, while Ramdayal bagged 2 and Manik claimed one.
In reply, Bhatia Cricket Club chased the target easily in 13.1 overs by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Ramdayal top scored with 62 runs, while Ankush contributed 28 runs to the total. Sumit and Rajinder claimed one wicket each. Ramdayal was declared as the man of the match for his all-round performance.
Meanwhile, at Sports Stadium Poonch, Poonch XI rode on brilliant 85 runs by Nawaz Rather and scored a huge total of 296 runs.
In reply, United Cricket Club managed to score 143 runs to lose the match by a big margin of 153 runs. Nawaz was declared as the man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik, Rahul Kumar, Gurmeet Singh, Shabir Ahmed and Rajneesh Maini.
The Jammu District Tournament is being held under the supervision of Organising Committee including Ganeshwar Singh, Vijay Sharma, Rajesh Dhar and Shubham Verma, while the Executive Committe of Poonch District Tournament includes Imtiyaz Ahmed, Kuljeet Singh, Imran Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmed.
