POONCH, July 26: Rydham top scored with magnificent 78 runs as Glamorous Cricket Club crushed Zaffar Cricket Club by a huge margin of 166 runs in the ongoing JKCA Poonch District Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here.
The Tournament is being held under the Chairmanship of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO JKCA.
Batting first, Glamorous Club scored a big total of 310 runs for the losss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. Apart from Rydham’s brilliance, Sunil and Deepak Junior contributed 74 and 28 runs to the total respectively. From Zaffar Club, Waqar and Wasim took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Zaffar Club managed to score 144 runs in 24 overs, thus lost the match by 166 runs. Waqar top scored with 61 runs, while Wasim contribuited 36 runs to the total. From Glamorous Club, Deepak Senior scalped 3 important wickets, while Pawan and Deepak Junior took 2 wickets each. Rydham was adjudged as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by RS Toofan and Gurmeet Singh as umpires, while Gurjot Singh was the scorer.
