Jammu, Mar 4 : To eradicate social evils from the society, Kathua Police arrested three gamblers while huge stake money amounting to Rs. 3250/- and playing cards have been seized from the gambling spot.
The accused have been identified as Varinder Kumar s/o Bishan Dass r/o Dinga Amb , Kirpal Singh s/o Prem Singh r/o Patyari Brahamana and Kishor Kumar s/o Tirath Ram r/o Patyari Brahamana .
Reports said that Police acting in a specific information conducted a raid at village Wazirala Talab near Pathwal Hiranagar and arrested three gamblers and recovered cash amounting to Rs. 3250/- and playing card from the spot . All the accused persons booked under 13 Gambling Act.
