Aggrieved students join dharna of ETT Colleges

JAMMU, Mar 5: On Second day of the ongoing chain hunger strike by Joint Action Committee of ETT Colleges, several aggrieved students also joined the protest dharna in the premises of J&K Board of School Education (BOSE), here today.
Shouting slogans in support of their demands and also for removal of Chairman BOSE, the protesters appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally look into the matter for redressal of their grievances.
These ETT Colleges are demanding registration of the admitted students for the session 2011-13 and their early exams by BOSE.
This morning, some aggrieved ETT students joined the protest dharna after they approached the BOSE officials who had no satisfactory explanation over the delay of their exams. These students announced active support to the JAC of ETT Colleges.
While addressing the dharna, JAC member J S Chouhan accused the Chairman BOSE of misrepresenting facts and misleading Government over the issue of ETT students’ regularization and their exams.
Highlighting their demands, another member of the JAC, Hari Dutt Shishu appealed MLAs of all political parties to ask the Government for streamlining badly derailed JKBOSE.
S Deep Singh, in his address, regretted the silence of Education Minister and Chief Minister over the issue of ETT College.
Manish Pathania appealed the Government to immediately resolve the issue of registration of admitted students and conduct their exams.
