Rubia Sayeed emerges winner in senior female category

POONCH, Mar 6: Range police Headquarter Rajouri today organized “Chhoona Hai Aasman Season-III” talent hunt show at District Police Lines Poonch.
During the competition, 15 artists selected during district level competition both from Poonch and Rajouri districts exhibited their skills during solo singing contest.
DIG Rajouri–Poonch Range Danesh Rana, was the chief guest, whereas Commander 93 Infantary brigade Brigadier Acharya was guest of honour. SP Rajouri, Mubassir Lateefi, Commandant AP 5th Battalion, Jahangeer Khan, CO 39 RR Colonel Manish, ADC Poonch Jatinder, Principal Degree college Prof GL Sharma, educationist KK Kapoor, padamshree Shamboo Nath Khajuria, Advocate Sanjay Raina, Advocate Bhatti, Congress leader Mohd Taj Mir, NC leader Choudhary Gani, PDP leader Imtiaz  Bandey, Additional SP Jugal Manhas and large number of people were also present.
Out of 15 participants, five were selected for Zonal level competition to be organized by ZPHQ Jammu from where the winner will have opportunity to participate at the State Level.
In the senior male category, Ahsan Asgar of Poonch district and Syed Mehran Shah of Rajouri district shared the first position, whereas in senior female category Rubia Sayeed of Rajouri secured first position.
In junior male category, Pawandeep Singh of Poonch District secured first position while in junior female category Palvi Sharma of Rajouri District secured first position.
Danesh Rana, while speaking exhorted upon the youth to work hard and contribute positively in the overall development of the region.
SP Poonch Shamsheer Hussain in his address highlighted the importance of the talent hunt programme and appealed the youth to take advantage of this opportunity in enhancing their skills in the singing.
The whole programme was anchored by noted artist Pardeep Khanna.
