JAMMU, Aug 14: Hindu Shiv Sena, Jammu Kashmir, has said that abrogation of Article 370 would put an end to terrorism and lead to progress of the region.
Addressing a press conference, here today, president of Hindu Shiv Sena, J&K, Krishan Manhas alleged that the Kashmir centric leaders and their allies have, over the last several decades, thrived and flourished by creating a fear-psychosis, which enabled them to perpetuate their dynasty rule, for three generations by creating an impression that they are the only political players in the political spectrum of Kashmir and in their absence, there would be nobody to take charge of the political responsibility.
“People of J&K and more particularly youth are elated over abrogation of Article 370 as they were deprived of various rights and benefits of the Government,” he said, adding that significant decision taken by the Government of India would open new horizons for the younger generation.
The Hindu Shiv Sena chief appealed people not get panicked about the rumours spread by the self centric elements regarding crime rise and settlement of outsiders here. “J&K Police is efficient enough to control the crime and volunteers of Hindu Shiv Sena are always there to protect the cause of Jammu,” he said and asked people of Jammu to put national interest before their own.
Krishan Manhas appreciated Governor Satya Pal Malik and his administration in ensuring peace and keeping the situation under control after abrogation of Article 370.
In the press conference, Krishan Manhas was accompanied by B L Bhagat, Ashok Jandyal, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Tandav Dutt Sharma, Arjun Sharma, Raman Jandyal, Manmohan Kumar, Subhash Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Shivender Kumar, Vikas Sharma, Ashwani Singh and Jyoti Sharma.
