JAMMU, Mar 6: The JKAS Adhoc Executive Council today nominated Kifayat Hussain Razivi as Returning Officer for the elections to elect the regular Council already scheduled to be held on April 15, 2013.
The nomination was made at a meeting of the Adhoc Executive Council of JKAS held at R&B Guest House with President M.H.Malik, in the chair.
Kifayat Hussain Razivi, Commissioner Commercial Taxes attended the meeting as special invitee.
During the meeting various issues pertaining to the interests of KAS fraternity came under discussion. After detailed discussion, it was unanimously decided to initiate the process to elect a regular executive council for which April 15, 2013 has already been fixed as date of election in the general body meeting held on March 3, 2013.
In this context, there was a general agreement on the name of Kifayat Hussain Razivi to be as Returning Officer for the elections. A request was made to him to issue election schedule notification as soon as possible.
The meeting ended with the resolution that all efforts will be made by the adhoc committee to fulfill the mandate given to it by taking the entire KAS fraternity on board.
