JAMMU, Aug 18: A tribute program to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose was organized on his death anniversary (Punya Tithi) by Muzzafarabad Hindu Biradri at Geeta Mandir, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
Former Minister and Ex- MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma presided over the program along with many others including State Secretary Corporator Sanjay Baru, Chairman SJC and Corporator Jeet Angral, Chairman Association Dr. Deepak Kapoor and President Sanam Damir. A large number of people paid tributes to Netaji and remembered him for his sacrifices made for nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Netaji sacrificed his whole life for motherland and his contribution to take India towards independence is unforgettable. Bose was a stalwart who committed himself towards ensuring India is free and leads a life of dignity, he said. He said that Netaji played an important role in the freedom struggle.
Sanjay Baru and Jeet Angral said that Netaji remains one of our most beloved national heroes and an icon of India’s freedom struggle. Netaji is cherished, remembered and missed to this day all over the country”.
Dr. Deepak Kapoor and Sanam Damir said that Netaji was the inspiration for everyone especially youngsters and still his examples are given for motivating people.
Ravi Kant Sharma, Yash Pal Kapoor, Arun tendon, Anju Tandon, Mamta Verma, Adv Dheeraj Bhasin, Abhimanyu Verma, Rakesh Kumar Bhagat, Sumit Tandon, Dheeraj Sharma and several others were also present.
