JAMMU, Aug 30: Two days 9th District Jammu Rope Skipping Championship concluded at Kotli Bhawan, Rehari Colony, here today.
The Championship, in which 250 players drawn from various institutions took part was organised by Rope Skipping Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
The participating schools were KC International School, International Delhi Public School, Shangrilla Public School, Heaven Kingdom Public School, KC Gurukul, Nand Public School, SOS Harman School, Army Public School Damana, GD Goenka, Trikuta Public School, BSF School and May Fair International School, Jammu.
Arun Khanna, Councillor was the chief guest on the occasion, while Reetiz Khajuria, Social worker was the guest of honour. Deepak Sharma and Tarsem Sharma were the special guests.
Shangrilla Public School was the overall winner, while KC Gurukul emerged runners-up.
The gold medals in various events were claimed by Advait Gupta, Hitesh Badyal, Tanish Sharma, Shivang Pagotra, Tarun Manhas, Radhika Sharma, Tania Sharma, Sukriti, Shivika Abrol, Arav Singh, Anirudh Sharma, Lakhshdeep Sharma, Diya Singh and Siddant Mehra.
