KV Nagrota organises 32nd National Youth Parliament competition

JAMMU, Aug 30: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nagrota, Jammu organized 32nd National Youth Parliament Competition 2019-20 at the Regional Level, here today.
Former Minister, Yashpal Kundal was the chief guest on the occasion.
DP Patel, Assistant Commissioner (Off. Deputy Commissioner), KVS (RO) Jammu; TR Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner, KVS (RO) Jammu; BR Parmar, Principal KV Chenani, Didar Singh Principal KV Nagrota, besides various escorts and vibrant participants were part of the ceremony.
The programme began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, which was followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by the students of the Vidyalaya.
The chief guest was formally welcomed by Didar Singh, Principal of the Vidyalaya.
Five Vidyalayas of Jammu region participated in the competition which included KV No-1 Jammu, KV No-1 Udhampur, KV No-2 Jammu Cantt, KV DPS Kishtwar and KV Lakhanpur.
KV No-1 Jammu secured the first position. The chief guest distributed the prizes among the winners and the best performers from different teams and blessed the entire gathering through his motivational address.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by TR Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner KVS (RO) Jammu followed by National Anthem.
