JAMMU, Sept 6: Banyan International School organised ‘Tirangaa 2019’; an inter school annual event, here today.
This year’s theme emphasised celebrating wildlife. The event saw a huge response as participants from different schools of Jammu participated in the competition.
A total of 530 students from 30 different schools showcased their talent. Santosh Mehta, Principal Rhyme Time Play Way School, who was the chief guest on the occasion inaugurated the event by lighting of ceremonial lamp.
The theme for the event was ‘Be the Guardians of All Voiceless’. The participants showcased their talent on the canvas with attractive colour combinations spreading strong message towards significance of wild life and its protection. The participants exhibited an excellent display of insightful creativity in reciting poems & story telling that glorified wildlife and warned against its destruction.
The fancy dress competition was a special attraction as the commitment of young participants towards nature were at full display.
The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of all participants. The event came to a close with the prize distribution function.
The members of school management Pooja Mahajan and Miho Mahajan expressed pleasure in hosting the event.
The participating schools included Rhyme Time Play Way School, Apple Kids, Mother’s Lap, Little millennium, Shemrock, Little Champs, Buniyaad, Stepping Stones Shastri Nagar, Stepping Stones BD Barhi, Aptech Montana, Silver Spoons, Oak Tree, First Step and Funk it up.
