JAMMU, Sept 14: The Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, organized Inter-Collegiate Swimming (M&W) Championship 2019-20 at MA Stadium, here.
12 Colleges in men’s section affiliated to the University of Jammu participated in the event.
GDC Samba clinches the overall Championship with 16 points
In Men section
Freestyle-50 Mtrs, Sajid Khan of GDC Rajouri clinched Gold while Ayush Jaggi of MIET and Amir Mustaq of GDC Chatroo Stood 2nd & 3rd position respectively.
The other events held were Freestyle 100 Mtrs, Freestyle 200 Mtrs, Breast Stroke 100 Mtrs, Brest Stroke 200 Mtrs and Back Stroke 100 Mtrs.
Others dignitaries present on the occasion were Rakesh Puri,GDC Rajouri, Ravi Kumar GDC Billawar, Gautam Sharma GDC Khour, Vikram Jamwal GDC Hiranaga, Sanjeev Jamwal GDC Samba, Assistant Prof Shamsher Singh GDC Kathua and Prof GM Choudhary GDC Paloura.
The officials included Vikas Magotra (Swimming Coach), Jai Bharat and Raj Kumar Bakshi.
