JAMMU, Sept 17: Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu organized Inter District Divisional Level Competitions in the sports disciplines of badminton and softball for all age group boys at different venues in Jammu.
Six districts of Jammu Division are taking part in the competition at different venues. The teams of Jammu Division are struggling for their best in the competition to set the level of the next competition coming ahead.
In U-19 Softball at GGM Science College, District Jammu beat District Kathua by 11-2, whereas in U-17, District Jammu tie with District Kathua and in U-14, District Kathua beat District Jammu by 8-2.
In U-17 Badminton, District Udhampur will take on District Jammu in the summit clash, whereas in U-19, District Poonch will lock horns with District Udhampur.
In U-19 Cricket final, District Jammu beat District Ramban by 56 runs. Top scorer was Vinayak with 49 runs.
