JAMMU, Sept 24: Rousing reception was accorded to Inspector Bimal Indu here today.
Son of the soil and Inspector and Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) Bimal Indu had brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning Gold Medal in the Bench Press event in the Master 2 Category during Common Wealth Power Lifting and Bench Press Championship.
The Championship was held at St John Newfoundland Canada from September 15 to 21, 2019
In the championship, a total of 5 players including 2 each from Australia, Canada and 1 from India participated.
Inspector Bimal Indu is presently posted as SHO Police Station Nowabad.
Inspector Bimal Indu was received by DIG Jammu Vivek Gupta along with SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh and other officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
A victory rally was taken out from Jammu Airport to Circular Road Jammu, where Inspector Bimal Indu resides.
