POONCH, Mar 12: The police held three absconders who were evading arrest for the last more than ten years.
On the direction of SP Poonch, Shamsheer Hussain, a special police party under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar, Amit Bhasin arrested all the three wanted accused from different locations in Mendhar tehsil. They are identified as Mohd Latief, son of Sakhi Mohd, Mohd Shafi, son of Fayaz Mohd, residents of Chhunga and Mohd Rafiq, son of Beeru, resident of Chhajla in Mendhar. Warrants under Section 512 from a local court were pending against them. Latief was wanted by police since 1995.
