JAMMU, Oct 18: District Billiard and Snooker Championship and 6 Red Ball Snooker Championship was inaugurated by Siddarth Sharma, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) along with members of JKBSA.
Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex and Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu were also present on the occasion.
This year, the organisers received house full entries for 6 Red Ball Snooker which got underway today. All the players were super exited for the upcoming tourney and JKBSA wished them a Good Luck.
Sanjeev Gupta, President of the Association, Jaideep Manocha, Sr Vice President, Vishal Abrol, General Secretary, Nikhil Kaphai, Vice President, Sohail Khalid, treasurer, besides other members Ishan Choudhary, Gurjeev Singh and Sunil Jain were present on the opening ceremony.
Rakesh Sharma will be the marker for the tournament as all the rules and regulations of the tourney are followed as described by BSFI.
This tournament is being organised by JKBSA under the aegis of JK Sports Council and under the organising committee of Ishuk Choudhary, Organising Secretary.
