KATHUA Oct 22: Kathua Police under the guidelines and directions of Shridhar Patil, SSP Kathua launched manhunt against absconders wanted in bovine smuggling cases registered in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Lakhanpur.
Different teams were constituted by Inspector Bharat Sharma , SHO Police Station Lakhanpur under the direct supervision K.D.Bhagat Dy.SP DAR Kathua for apprehending absconders wanted in bovine smuggling cases registered in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Lakhanpur.
The continuous efforts of police team resulted into arrest of nine bovine smugglers.
They included Madeem Khan, S/o Abdul Rashid of Pinder tehsil, R S Pura, district Jammu.
He was declared absconder in Case FIR No. 52/2009 U/S 188 RPC 3PCA Act by Court of JMIC Kathua on October 10, 2012.
Balbir Singh S/o Kahan Singh, R/o Chouhala was declared absconder in case FIR 79/08 U/s 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act by Court of CJM Kathua on June 4, 2013.
Madeem Khan S/o Ab Rashid, R/o R.S Pura district Jammu was declared absconder in Case FIR No. 79/2006 U/S 188 RPC 3PCA Act by Court of JMIC Kathua on September 3, 2013.
Masoom Ali, S/o Marid R/o Manohar Gopala of Samba was declared absconder in case FIR No. 14/2010 U/s 188 RPC 3PCA Act by Court of Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua on January 3, 2015.
Reham Ali, S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Sandervan tehsil and district Pathankot was declared absconder in Case FIR No. 31/2012 U/S 188 RPC 3PCA Act by Court of Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua on May, 24, 2016.
Billu S/o Lal Hussain, R/o Garnai Tehsil Narote Jaimal Singh, district Pathankot was declared absconder in Case FIR No. 06/2013 U/s 188 RPC 3PCA Act by Court of Special Mobile Magistrate, Kathua on June 1, 2016.
Faryad Ali, S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Rangoora Bye Pass Jammu was declared absconder in case FIR No. 06/2013 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act by Court of Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua on June 1,2016.
Mohd. Sadiq, S/o Ab. Rahim R/o Kansi Pata, district Reasi was declared absconder arrested in Case FIR No. 06/2013 U/s 188 RPC 3PCA Act warrant by Court of Special Mobile Magistrate, Kathua on June 1, 2016.
Noor Din, S/o Alam Din, R/o Bakral Colony, tehsil Marheen, district Kathua was declared absconder in Case FIR No. 24/2016 U/S 188 RPC 3PCA Act by Court of Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua on January, 01, 2019.
Search of other absconders is going on in addition to stringent measures taken by Kathua Police to eradicate bovine smuggling menace.
