BWWA organizes civic action prog at Home for Handicapped

JAMMU, Oct 22: A civic action programme was organized by BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) Jammu in Home for Handicapped, Udaywalla, here.
In this programme BWWA President Rajni Jamwal, Pinky Singh, Rimple Singhla, Alka Upadhyay and other members of BSF Wives Welfare Association distributed bed sheets, blankets, fruits and sweets to the disabled children.
It is pertinent to mention here that Home for Handicapped is running with the help of Red Cross Society Jammu and these divyang children belong to whole parts of Jammu and Kashmir and BWWA is always committed to run such types of welfare activity for society.
On the occasion, the chief guest of the programme BWWA President Rajni Jamwal said that BWWA is a non-profit organization which trains and assists wives of BSF personnel in areas such as skill generation, education of children, introducing new opportunities/ avenues to wives of BSF personnel as well as their children, career counseling, health, life style, housing for widows, sharing and resolving their problems so that wives of BSF personnel should not feel loneliness. These special children need special care and love by the society, she added.
On the occasion, RK Khajuria, Secretary of Home for Handicapped and Joint Secretary Satish Sharma were also present.
