JAMMU, Oct 24: PSPCL Patiala, Punjab and Singh Bank (PSB) Academy and Punjab Police registered wins in the ongoing ‘Sarbat Da Bhalaa’ Hockey Tournament at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
In the first match, the teams PSPCL Patiala and EME Jalandhar remained goalless in the stipulated time and the match was decided via tie-breaker, wherein PCPCL secured the win by (3-2) goals. Karanjeet Singh Maan goalkeeper of PSPCL was adjudged the player of the Match.
In the second match, Punjab and Sind Bank Academy thrashed J&K Police hockey Team by (7-1), while in the last match of the day, the star-studded Punjab Police team with four Olympians clashed with Khadur Sahib Hockey Academy Team in the well contested match. Finally, Punjab Police beat Khadur Sahib by 3-1. Balvinder Singh Chandi (Olympian) was declared as the man of the match.

In the first match, while Nasir Goni Chief Engineer R&B Jammu was the chief guest and S. Biukkram Singh Executive Engineer PWD was the guest of honour in the second match.
