JAMMU, Oct 24: Nowabad police booked two persons including a woman for kidnapping a class 10th minor girl student.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man hailing from Puran Nagar area of Talab Tillo with Police Station Nowabad stating that a man identified as Raju, son of Vijay Kumar, a resident of tehsil Nowshera district Rajouri along with a lady namely Hema Devi, wife of Kala, a resident of Bhagwati Nagar have kidnapped his 15-year old daughter (a student of Class-10th) when she had gone to take tuition classes.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 149/19 under Sections 363 and 109 RPC has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and hunt has been launched to rescue the kidnapped girl student and arrest the accused.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
