JAMMU, Oct 25: A meeting of Incharge officers and lecturers of School Education Department was held here today under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur, State chairman of SEECC /JKGTF.
The meet requested Commissioner Secretary to expedite the regularization process of remaining incharge officers and Lecturers (Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, ZEOs Headmasters and Lecturers ) and also regularize the fresh incharge lecturers after their postings .
Thakur informed that the process was delayed due to court stay on 17.7.1019 which was withdrawn by petitioners as their objection was already addressed in order No 115 GAD of 2019 dated 23.01.2019 and court too issued directions to the department to take view of the same during regulatization , which is being viewed now while issuing orders by the department.
He requested all gazetted and incharge cadres not to fall prey of anti teaching community elements and find solution through negotiations. He said that wasting time, money and energy in controversial cases put the whole department and community into trouble .
It was pointed out in the meeting that the School Education Department has ignored the reservation category incharge officers and lecturers while issuing regularization lists and only those have been regularized who fall under the open category and are seniors for the reasons best known to authorities. It was further pointed out that all incharge lecturers of Jammu division in the discipline of Chemistry have been ignored while issuing regularization order.
