JAMMU, Oct 28: The Pensioners and Senior Citizens Welfare Forum has expressed concern over the delay in regularization of daily wagers and other temporary employees by Chief Engineer M&RE Kashmir despite the fact that the DPC has been conducted and cleared the names of these employees over a year back.
The chairman of the Front and veteran trade Union leader, Mir Ghulam Rasool has urged the authorities to release the list without further delay as these daily wagers and work charge employees have become totally disappointed due to delay in the issuance of the regularisation list.
Mir said that the authorities had assured to issue the list under SRO 381. He said these daily wagers are running form pillar to post over the years and a hope was generated among them after the holding of DPC but till date the list has not been issued by the authorities which is a cause of concern. He demanded immediate release of the list.
