JAMMU, Oct 31: Gangyal police arrested a criminal along with country made pistol and two live cartridges.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia during patrolling in Bandu Rakh area intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered country made pistol and two live round from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Surjeet Singh alias Seetu, son of Santokh Singh of TCP Kharian, Miran Sahib.
A case under FIR Number 125/19 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered by Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
