SAMBA, Oct 31: A pedestrian was injured in road mishap after hit by an Alto car bearing no Jk21/4701 at Main Chowk, Samba near power house here, today.
According to the report, the mishap took place at Main Chowk near Power House, Samba, when the Alto car hit pedestrian and fled with the result pedestrian received critical injuries.
He was rushed to District Hospital Samba for treatment with the help of police. After first aid at DH the doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
The injured has been identified Sukhi Ram, 42, resident of Chattishgarh.
The Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
