JAMMU, Mar 15: With state of the art infrastructure and quality education at affordable fee, Technology Education and Research Integrated Institutions (TERII), Kurukshetra is offering various Engineering and Management courses.
TERII includes an Engineering College with annual intake of 60 each in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science & Engg, MBA, BBA, Polytechnic in Civil; Mechanical, Mechatronics, CAD/CAM, Electrical Engg , CBSE affiliated senior secondary Public School etc.
Talking to media persons, here today, Prof M P Gupta, Advisor TERII and former Director of Technical Education Haryana and Uttarakhand, highlighted main features of the Institution, which was established six years ago under the aegis of Gyankund Trust.
“We do not claim to have world class infrastructure and 100 percent placements but right kind of infrastructure, people, facilities and process for honing the requisite competence of students,” he said.
Prof Gupta further informed that fee structure of TERII was affordable with many incentives in shape of scholarship, fee waiver, awards and rewards, earn-while-learn scheme etc. “Annual fee charges for B Tech are Rs 80000 for boys and Rs 70000 for girls, MBA – Rs 55000 for boys and Rs 48000 for girls, Diploma/ BBA/Pre Engg – Rs 30000 for boys and Rs 25000 for girls and Hostel including food for Rs 48000 only,” he elaborated adding that fee is taken semester wise.
Prof MP Gupta said that when large numbers of technical institutions, particularly in the private sector are striving to survive with damaged credibility; distrust and lack of quality, TERII is a living example of harmonious working of the Management, the faculty, and the students.
Throwing light on the campus life, Prof Gupta said that the students are encouraged for the spirit of innovations, explorations and experimentation. “Talent is identified and enriched through ‘The Wednesday’ and various club activities,” he said.
Er Rajiv Singh, Dean Students Welfare and Ajaat Jamwal, Coordinator Admissions, Jammu were also present during the press conference.
