JAMMU, Mar 17: NCC defeated RPCC by 6 wickets to lift the title trophy of the T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Dewan Cricket Club Association, Dewan Mandir Kachi Chawni at Dewan Mandir Ground, here today.
Earlier, RPCC scored a modest total which NCC chased by losing 4 wickets to win the match easily by 6 wickets. For a superb bowling display Puneet was declared man of the match. He took 3 important wickets to turn the tide in his teams favour.
Yudhvir Sethi, Jammu-Poonch Parliament Constituency Parbhari was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Vidhi Singh Jamwal was the guest of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sat Samotra, Vishnu Partap Singh, Arjun Sharma, Ashok Gupta and Ajay.
Earlier, the chief guest was introduced with players of both the teams by the chairman of the club, Sahil Bhol.
Later-on, the chief guest and the other dignitaries distributed prizes among the winners and runners up teams.
The tournament was sponsored by Ashok Gandotra, Ashok Gupta, Ajay Kapoor, Vicky Soni, Gurukul Institutes, Bushan Chowdhary and Uphar Kendar.
