B-Division Football League Tournament

JAMMU, Nov 21: Churchill B, Akhnoor Tiger blanked opponents in the ongoing B-Division Football League Tournament, being organised by District Football Association (DFA) Jammu, under the auspices of the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
In the first match, Churchill B defeated Jammu Sports FC by four goals to nil (4-0). The first goal came in shape of own goal in 7th minute of the match, while the 2nd , 3rd and 4th goals were scored by Ajay Jasrotia, Kunal and Jagrmeet Singh in 12th, 14th and 27th minutes respectively.
In another match, Akhnoor Tiger thrashed Vijay Young by eight goals to nil (8-0).
The matches were officiated by Ajay Singh, Aman Banathia, Rahul Ghai, Neetika, Dheeraj Menia, Rocky Sharma, Dil Bhadur and Abhishek Chandan.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Nagrota Club will take on Young Sports at 2:30 pm, while Nav Bharat will face Vijay Hero at 3:30 pm.
David Masin was the chief guest on the occasion.
Today’s matches among others were witnessed by Narinder Gupta, Yousuf Don, Rajesh Sumbria, Feastus Sotra, Ashok Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Mohan Lal, Moon Stephen and Sampal Gill.
