JAMMU, Nov 25: Govt College for Women (GCW) Parade celebrated its 66th Foundation Day with pomp and show in the College Auditorium, here today.
The College Principal, Dr Chander Shekhar Gupta extended his good wishes to the students and the faculty on the occasion. The celebration started with the introductory speech about the college and the founder of college Maharani Tara Devi by Media and communication Head Aditi Raj Thakur.
Students presented a variety of cultural items including Dogri dance and Punjabi dance, besides singing performances including Ghazal and Bollywood songs. Dean Students Welfare Prof Seema Mir congratulated students on the occasion for their good performances and dedication.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the College President, Sunpreet Kour.
