Jammu, Nov 26: Army Public School (APS) Damana organized Inter School Sports Quiz competition aimed at inculcating spirit of healthy competition, team effort, updating the knowledge about the latest developments in the field of sports along with enhancing the ability for expressions.
Five CBSE Schools under Hub of Learning from Jammu Cluster participated in the competition.
About 150 students of the host School and participating schools formed the responsive audience who cheered their school teams with applause.
The competition was divided into four rounds which included Multiple Choice Questions, Direct Questions, Visual Round and Rapid Fire.
Bhrigun Gupta, Sushant Verma, Romit Koul and William Manhas of APS Damana claimed 1st position whereas APS, Miran Sahib bagged second position.
Rajesh Rathore, Principal GD Goenka Public School and Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana distributed trophies and certificates among the winners and participants.
Mr Rathore motivated the students to be updated with the latest knowledge. Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana lauded the students for their diligent efforts and encouraged them to keep participating in such competitions.
