JAMMU, Nov 27: Government Degree College Jindrah felicitated the medal winning women Boxing team of the College in an impressive function organised in the College premises, here. The students of GDC Jindrah won overall Inter-Collegiate Boxing Championship by winning 2 gold, 3 silver and a bronze medal.
Earlier, the College women team has won runners-up trophy in boxing in Sports Fest 2019, organized by University of Jammu. Principal of the college, Prof Kalpna Kesar appreciated and motivated the students for commendable performance and boosted their morale for upcoming events.
The convener of sports committee, Prof Paramjit Singh and Physical Director, Vikesh Kumar Sharma also congratulated the winners.
The other dignitaries on the occasion were, Prof Rajiv Katoch, Dr Ashaq Hussain, Prof Paramjeet Singh, Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma and Prof Menakshi Sharma.
