JAMMU, Nov 27: To pick the team for representing the State in National School Games, the Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu hosted Inter-Division Under-17 Years Girls Basketball Championship at MA Stadium, here today.
The competitions were organized under the patronage of Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K Government, Jammu and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director, while Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu, was the Organizing Secretary of the competitions.
The selection of players of both the Divisions was made on the basis of their performance in the competitions.
The matches were officiated by a panel of experts from the Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu.
