JAMMU, Nov 29: Pir-Panjal Kabaddi League which was organised by Indian Army Unit 10 RR Doda concluded, today.
The aim of this League was to promote Kabaddi as sports in Jammu & Kashmir every year at Sports Stadium, Doda. Deputy Commander 4 Sector RR, Major 10 RR and other officials were also present on the occasion.
In this league, 7 teams from Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch and Nowshera participated.
The final match was played between Doda and Poonch in which Doda lifted the title by defeated their rivals with a big margin of 26 points.
The event drew overwhelming response from the people of Doda, who appreciated the efforts of Army for organising this league.
The winners and runners-up teams were awarded with medals, trophies and cash prizes.
