UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Village of Laddana, Foungari, Kakoli, and adjoining areas in Ramnagar are without electricity supply for the last five days.
Up in arms against no power supply, locals of these villages today held a strong protest against PDD at Laddana. They raised slogans against the PDD and demanded immediate restoration of power supply.
The villagers said that Laddana, Foungari, Kakoli, and adjoining area are in dark for the past five days after 25 KV Transformer near Foungari got damaged . Despite repeated requests to the concerned authorities, the transformer has not been repaired so far with the result that people are without electricity, they added.
