JAMMU, Dec 3: Security forces today arrested a militant and bused hideout of the militants at village Ikhala Palmad in Kishtwar district from where arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered while Army nabbed one Pakistani national soon after he intruded into the Indian territory breaching the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
Reports said a joint team of Kishtwar police, 17 Rashtriya Rifles and 52 Central Reserve Police Force launched an operation at village Ikhala in Palmad area of Kishtwar this morning after developing specific information about presence of the militant in a hideout.
During searches, police arrested the militant and busted his hideout.

Arrested militant has been identified as Tariq Hussain Wani son of Mohammad Amin Wani, a resident of Sondar Dachchan in Kishtwar district.
From the hideout, security forces recovered one .303 rifle, one magazine, 64 live cartridges and 11 charger clips.
The militant was arrested in an injured condition. He had sustained gunshot on his left foot and was immediately shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar.
The militant was injured in accidental fire.
A case against the arrested militant has been registered under FIR No. 268/2019 at Kishtwar police station under Sections 7/25 Indian Arms Act and 18, 20, 23, 38 and 39 Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
Sources said questioning of the militant would start only after he is declared fit by the doctors and discharged from the hospital.
During past couple of months, Kishtwar police have arrested number of militants for trying to revive militancy in the district and being involved in the killings of the BJP and RSS leaders.
Apart from the arrests, three militants were gunned down by the security forces at Batote in Ramban district on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway when they were on way from Kishtwar to South Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Army today captured a Pakistani national when he intruded into the Indian territory from the LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
After preliminary questioning, Army handed over the intruder to police.
He has disclosed his identity as Tariq Mahmood son of Fazal Rehman, a resident of village Chai Nalla in Samahani tehsil of Bhimber district in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Sources said cognizance of the matter has been taken under relevant Sections of law. However, no incriminating material was recovered from his possession.
