JAMMU, Mar 19: In keeping with the changing trends in education, Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER organized a three-day orientation programme for school teachers, here today.
About 50 teachers from both the branches of the school participated in the programme.
Kunal Anand, Director, Education Express, was the resource person on this occasion.
In her welcome address, Principal Rupa Gupta said the aim of the orientation programme was to develop competent teachers with encouraging personalities, excellent interpersonal, professional and personal skills.
Kunal Anand during the three-day session spoke on Interpersonal and communication skills, personality development, grooming and social etiquettes. He also held an Interactive session with the teachers on ‘How to be effective teachers’.
Sessions also included interesting games, activities and trivia’s. Anand elucidated that the best teachers are those who cherish their students and hold them in unconditional positive regard.
Dr Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER was also present on the occasion.
