RAJOURI, Mar 19: A minor girl was raped by two youth in Nowshera area of district Rajouri today.
The victim hailing from village Gagrote is the student of 11th Class and had gone for a natural call in the nearby fields during early morning. Two youth namely Monu Chib, son of Gurdev Singh and Mangu Ram alias Manga, son of Mulakh Raj, resident of the same area who were following the girl caught hold of her and dragged her to nearby forest area committed rape and then escaped. They threatened the girl to eliminate her and also her father if she opened mouth.
As the girl did not return, the family members started search and found the girl lying in unconscious condition in the forest. The girl later narrated the matter to the family members. The parents then lodged an FIR No. 59/ 2013 with the Nowshera police under Sections 376/ 363 RPC. The girl was sent for medical examination to the hospital. The police has started manhunt for the absconding rapists.
