JAMMU, Mar19: Bhajan CD and Vedic magazine was released today by Brig (Retd) Vinod Kousar in a Yajna organized at Ved Mandir, Yol Cantt Himachal Pradesh in a well attended function.
A large number of devotees of Swami Ram Swarup ji Yogacharya from all over northern India and local disciples of Swamiji participated in the function. A current issue of magazine namely “Ved Ishwareeya Vani” which was released on the occasion is a bi-annual and bilingual magazine. It contains articles related to spiritual awakening, social and health issues. Swamiji who happens to be the chief editor of the magazine has been single handedly propagating the Vedic teachings through this magazine.
The Bhajan CD “Ved Vani Ke Updesh” has been produced by the leading music company T-series which contains 7 Bhajans sung by Swamiji with leading female singers of bollywood viz Anuradha Paudwal, Shubha Joshi and Purnima Modak. Most of these Bhajans have been composed by Swamiji himself.
As a prelude to the magazine and C.D. release function, a holy yajna was performed amidst the chanting of Ved mantras and offerings offered to the holy fire.
Swamiji in his sermon stressed upon the devotees to come out from the cob-web of materialism and devote their time towards spiritual pursuits also. Swamiji emphasized that in todays world Vedic knowledge has even become more relevant when there has been degradation of human values, morals, ethics and spirituality. Swamiji stressed that people should make Sri Ram, Shri Krishna, Arjun etc as their role models and they should emulate the virtues and deeds of these great people in their day today life.
