JAMMU, Dec 10: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reconstituted an apex committee of Himayat Scheme as per the guidelines of Deen Dayal Upadhya-Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY).
Headed by Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education Department, the committee shall evaluate the proposals of Project Implementing Agencies and to approve the same, allot targets, set areas of operation and set the project framework for implementation of Himayat Scheme.
Administrative Secretary of the Labour & employment department or his representative, Administrative secretary of RDD and Panchayati Raj, CEO DDU-GKY Himayat, one representative each of the Finance Department, DDU-GKY and Central Technical Support Agency are members of the committee.
