SAMBA, Dec 10: The Traffic Police Samba today laid special Nakka at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Mansar Morh here and Challaned 60 vehicles in various offences and realized an amount of 40,000 as fine.
After taking the charge of Samba by DTI, Rajesh Thappa, Traffic Police has challaned several vehicles for over-loading and booked other vehicles for offences like driving without licenses, using mobile phones while driving, not wearing crash helmets, triple riding, without helmet and for violating many other traffic rules.
The drive was launched under the guidelines of SP Rural Traffic , Mohan Lal Kaith and DySP, Tarffic Kathua Samba range.
