JAMMU, Dec 21: Nowabad police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 350 banned syrup bottles.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nowabad Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Jasrotia laid a naka at Jewel Chowk and intercepted a Wagon-R car bearing registration number JK03H-1531.
During checking, police team recovered 350 banned syrup bottles and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Arif Amin Dugroo, son of Mohammad Amin Dugroo of Qazi Mohalla Lal Chowk, District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 182/19 under section 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation initiated.
