JAMMU, Dec 22: Spring Blossom’s Public High School, Bakshi Nagar and Lakkar Mandi Janipur collaboratively celebrated Foundation Day in the form of Annual Day at Abhinav Theatre, here.
Navin K Choudhary, Principal Secretary to Industries and Commerce & Tourism Department was the chief guest on the occasion, while Ashish Gupta, Joint Municipal Commissioner JMC and Sandeep Mehta, SSP Operation Jammu were the guests of honour.
The function began with the lighting of traditional lamp.
The chief guest and the other dignitaries paid rich tributes to Late Sudagar Shah, Founder of the School.
The programme commenced with the National Anthem.
Dr Sudhir Mahajan presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest congratulated the students, staff and teachers and said that school and teachers have a great responsibility on their shoulders to mould the students’ personality.
He distributed the mementoes among the meritorious students of Class 10th on the occasion.
The guests of honour also spoke on the occasion.
The students presented a variety of cultural and other allied items on the occasion.
Raman Gupta, Joint Director (Budget) and Bharti Sambyal, Joint Director (Funds Organisation), Jammu were also present on the occasion.
Divya Gupta, Principal of the Institution presented vote of thanks.
