REASI, Dec 22: Defeating Malik Cricket Club by 8 wicket in the title clash, President XI Sunderbani wins the title trophy of the Reasi Premier League, season 3rd at Zorawar Stadium, here.
Earlier, Malik Cricket Club Reasi won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, MCC scored a total of 151 runs in 20 overs. Ishiaq top scored with 76 runs from 60 balls and Umer contributed 43 runs off 39 balls. Ronit and Shubam from President XI Sunderbani took 2 wickets each.
In reply, President XI Sundebani won the match by 8 wickets. Nitish Locahb scored unbeaten 88 runs, while Arvind scored 36 runs. Locahb was adjudged as the man of the match, while Satta was declared as the man of the series.
The winners were given a cheque of Rs one lakh whereas runners-up team was presented a cheque of Rupees fifty thousand.
DC Reasi Indu Kanwal Chib and ex MOS Adv Ajay Nanda were the chief guests on the occasion.
Life time achievement awards were given to Maqbool Shah, Virender Sharma,
Romesh Singh, Aftab Malik, Surinder Sharma, Shashi Gupta and Beli Ram Rana
for their contribution in cricket.
Mahdev Singh Jamwal from Senior Citizen Cricket Club Udhampur and Brij Mohan from Senior Citizen Club Reasi were honoured on the occasion.
