Peepal Tree School holds 5th Annual Sports Meet

JAMMU, Dec 23: Peepal Tree School Jammu held its 5th annual Sports Meet “Khel-Mahotsav”.
The program started with the lighting of lamp by Principal Bhawna Baloria.
While addressing the gathering, she spoke about the significance of sports in a child’s life and why the celebration of the day was important for every school.
The opening ceremony began with the invocation song of the Sports Day which was followed up with a spectacular march past. The students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant events. They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
The bevy of events for the day included 100 meters, 200 meters, Frog Jump Race, Tug of War, Sack Race and Kho-Kho .The students participated in sports and won prizes. They also displayed their mastery in the lezim, aerobics and pyramid formation. The little stars of the school entertained the audience with a foot-tapping dance.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners.
In the end, Academic Coordinator Neerja Koul presented vote of thanks.
