JAMMU, Dec 23: Doon International School, Jammu has been conferred with ‘Indian School Excellence Award’ as along with the Principal, Dr Vikesh Kaur receiving ‘Indian School Leader Award’ and 9 incredibly innovative teachers were bestowed upon with prestigious National Education Excellence Award in various categories in 9th National Eduleaders Summit and Awards ceremony organized by ‘Centre for Educational Development’ under the chairmanship of Dr Priyadarshani Nayak.
Around 120 delegates from across the northern part of the country including J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi attended the summit propogating the incredibly informative theme of ‘Child Centered Happiness Curriculum’.
Doon International School teachers were appreciated for their remarkable contribution in the field of education through showcasing their exceptional competence and innovative pedagogy used in enhancing the phenomenal skill of the children and creating a happy and conducive environment for learning with exemplary determination and indomitable spirit of keeping a pace with the changing global educational scenario.
The fortunate awardees of Doon International School are Sarita Moza Kaul, Shivali Pathania, Jasleen Kour, Dr Hith Bharti, Minakshi Pathania, Tajinder Kour, Nisha Bangotra, Navneet Kour and Harmeet Singh.
The award function was presided over by the Mayor of Jammu, Chander Mohan Sharma and the former Cabinet Minister Choudhary Lal Singh.
The highlight of the summit was the exceptionally incredible session on ‘Happiness’ by Shankar Goenka, a renowned motivational speaker, which enlightened and empowered the entire teaching fraternity present over there.
