SSP honours medalists on Day-3 of Wushu C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 29: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Tejinder Singh honoured the medalists on Day-3 of ongoing 28th Senior National Wushu Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Wushu Association under the aegis of Wushu Association of India at New Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
42 teams drawn from across the country comprising of around 1200 players are taking part in this Championship.
Senior BJP leader Heena Bhat was the guest of honour, who accompanied the chief guest SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh during the distribution of medals.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizer for holding the event in a befitting manner. He also said that such events apart from helping youth to showcase their talent also help them to exchange culture with their counterparts from other States.
SSP also lavished praise for Organizing Secretary of this mega event, who has the distinction of producing international stuff from the country as Chief Wushu Coach of India.
